VIETNAM

February, 02-03 2016

Our first day in Vietnam. A smiling man was welcoming us in to their home. It was an open space, surrounded by nature. Our room was made of something that looked like bamboo, and inside it was two beds. We sat down in the kitchen area, and watched three ladies of three generations make dinner. Delicious traditional pancakes, spring rolls, rice, pumpkin soup, potatoes, more than we could ever eat up. After dinner, the family gave us a tour around the neighborhood. Kids were running around, laughing. Some were playing in the mud. Families were eating outside. A man was paddling in the lake. An old lady was taking a walk. Everyone were smiling and waving. The sun was on its way down and the sky turned pink. It was an unforgettable day.
